I wasn't able to post last Friday because I was out for the count from the flu. This one hit me pretty hard. Headaches, body aches, chills, coughing. My skin hurt. The one blessing is that I wasn't sneezing or stuffed up. My youngest son got it, then the next day it hit the rest of us. Luckily my husband bought $40 worth of Thai chicken coconut soup on the way home from work to last us a couple of days. Our household was filled with a cacophony of coughs all week. We used all the Kleenex boxes in the house. My youngest one reverted to primal survival instinct and swiped a Kleenex box from my work room and hid it in his bed. We didn't mind that much because his nose was the worst out of all of us.
So, I'm celebrating the fact that I survived the flu.
I was about to add something about Ebola, the flu, the pharmaceutical companies, and "the powers that be," but it was too un-PC, so I just deleted it. lol ;o)
Have a safe, healthy week.
What are you celebrating?
